Described as a raw shot of rock angst by the Detroit Free Press, Hyperactive is the "A" side of the little 45 rpm record that could. It was released, with its' flip-side Individual, in the Spring of 1982, was well received critically, and received some college radio play. Its' greatest glory however lies in the 45's status as a Detroit punk collectors' item (thank you Henry Weld), its' frequent sales (including internationally) on eBay (at least once even exceeding $100), and its part in the 7" vinyl E.P. re-release by Italy's own Rave-Up Records.
The gorgeous new single from this Belfast group has the bright, ringing guitars of C86 and the soft-focus vocals of shoegaze. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 15, 2022
Don't be fooled by the thick layer of snot over these songs - this Nova Scotian band has a melodic heart and a whip-smart head. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 3, 2018
